How to find your Hitachi lamp
Hitachi lamp codes follow the format DT0xxxx, for example DT01021 or DT01181. You'll find the code on the old lamp housing or in your projector's manual. Alternatively, type your projector model, such as Hitachi CP-X305 or CP-A221N, into the search bar at the top of the page. Many lamp codes fit several projectors, so if you know the code you can order with confidence.

Genuine, Original Inside or compatible?
A genuine Hitachi lamp is Hitachi's own lamp and housing, exactly as supplied with your projector. A VIVID Original Inside lamp uses the original manufacturer's bulb in a new housing, giving original brightness and colour for less. A Teklamps compatible lamp is our best-value choice, tested to match original brightness and lamp life, with a direct-fit housing for easy installation.
When does a Hitachi lamp need replacing?
A dimmer or yellowing picture, flickering, a lamp warning light or an on-screen message saying the lamp has reached the end of its life are the usual signs.
