Lamps Direct produce exceptional quality, high-brightness, long life replacement projector lamps at a great price and amazing value for money. We are able to pass on all the savings to you, thanks to manufacturing our own lamps. By doing so, we can ensure our lamps are to our own exacting specification.

Our Lamps:

We can supply you 3 types of lamp:

1. Original - This is the Manufacturers genuine lamp. This means both the bulb and the housing are original, the same as the manufacturer’s supplies (such as Epson, NEC and Optoma)
2. Original Inside - These lamps use very high-quality components that are comparable to the bulb supplied by the original manufacturer, thus guaranteeing performance.
3. Compatible - This is a compatible bulb inside a compatible housing.

What’s the difference?

Is it a bulb or is it a lamp? What’s the difference?

In short, its part terminology and part who uses what word to describe wat they require. There is a difference between a bulb and a lamp- a bulb is a single item on its own that will need to be fitted into bulb housing, and a lamp is the complete unit (the housing and the bulb together) that fits into your projector as a whole.
