This is the genuine Hitachi DT01431 lamp for the Hitachi CP-X3030WN – the original part made by Hitachi, the same lamp fitted at the factory. It's a complete unit with the bulb already fitted in its housing, rated at 215W with up to 5,000 hours of rated life, so it brings back the original brightness and colour of your projector. Every lamp is checked before it leaves our UK warehouse.
Genuine, Original Inside or Compatible?
This is the genuine Hitachi lamp, with a 90-day warranty. If you'd like to spend less, our Original Inside lamp for the Hitachi CP-X3030WN uses a genuine original bulb in a new housing and comes with a 180-day warranty, and our compatible lamp for the Hitachi CP-X3030WN is the lowest-cost option, with a 120-day warranty.
When to replace the lamp
Most projectors warn you when the lamp is near the end of its life: a lamp replacement message appears when you switch on, and the lamp indicator may light or flash. Before that, most people notice the picture getting dimmer or colours looking washed out. If the projector won't light at all, the lamp has usually failed.
How to fit it
Switch the projector off, unplug it and let it cool for at least 45 minutes. Remove the lamp cover, loosen the screws holding the old lamp and lift it out by the handle. Push the new lamp firmly into place, tighten the screws and refit the cover securely – most projectors won't power on if the lamp cover isn't closed properly. Finally, reset the lamp timer from the projector's menu so it stops showing the replacement warning (your user manual shows the exact steps for your model).

How do I know this is the right lamp? Check the model name on your projector, or the part number on the old lamp – if it shows DT01431, this lamp fits. If you're still not sure, contact our sales team and we'll confirm the right lamp for you.
